Slow! Slow! Slow!
My progress for my Star Wars costumes had been very, very slow and I kept getting distracted. =__= I suppose to be doing the Cape for my Clone Wars Snow Bunny Padme but it's still in 2 pieces. Also suppose to do the Inner Dress for my ROTS Padme Green Robe Inner Dress but I haven't got pass the front panel of the dress. Hai....hope I can get it done soon or will be Bathan Poodoo!

The only good things happening so far was that I gotten a Light Blue Pants that can pass as AOTC Boba Fett's. Combinding it with the Dull Dark Medium Blue Long-Sleeves T-Shirt I have, I now only need to do the Vest, Poncho (since going more for Rain scene) Leg Wraps and Belt to complete the outfit. Oh! Of Course the hair too but since this outfit is a back-up one, will only rent it from the Costume shop.

Okay, off to try dyeing the White Cheesecloth for my Padme Water Gown Inner Dress and need to send the dress to the seamstress tomolo evening. Nah! The Shade of Blue I get isn't close yet to the actual one so maybe I'll add a little Deep Blue to the Arabian Blue Dye I did yesterday or something. The process now is to dye the cloth Madonna Blue, then after a quick wash, Arabian Blue. But I need it to be a shade darker! @__@

Oh! Should I also burn it and get the Manga ANH Leia Ceremonial Dress done by the seamstress too? Gonna have a tight undersleeves under the Double Georgette Outer Sleeves since I don't wear anything sleevesless. But that means I got to get ~4m of White Duchess Satin plus Polyester Lining and 3m of White Double Georgette. More money spent! @__@ But the Outfit is so nice and with the good price I been getting with this seamstress, I think I can marginally afford it. I'm a very impatient person anyway. -__^ Will see how tomolo when I make a run to Joo Chiat Complex & Arab Street before meeting my friend at AMK MRT in the evening.

But I'm happy to say I'm still very Conservative, knows the basic rules of my religion and still 100% Virgin physically (Haahaa....who in these days haven't had a wet dream which came NOT out of their choice? -__^ )

Why am I saying this?

Well, during the run of the LOTR Exhibition and among my LOTR Showhost peers, I'm notorious for being dirty minded, with my favourite question of "Do you want the Whip or the Handcuffs?". Zack and Krist kept calling me Ma'dam and tease me about wanting to be kinky and having a whole legion of Playboys and Girls, many underage under my wings. -__^ But in reality, I know that my religion Islam FORBID Adultery and IMHO, maintaining ones Virginity is the easiest thing to do as with Fasting in the Month of Ramaadan and staying away from Haram Food & Drinks like Beer.

Maybe it's my upbringing. Tho' I lack proper Islamic Education like others, I do listen to Religious Lectures on the radio (cause some times, it's just better to on the radio and listen to it as getting ready to go out or when bored) and read up here and there. My interest was most intense while in JC but it kinda put to dormant currently. BUT I still obey the simplest rules that are within my capability and mood. -__^

Anyhow, I discovered that someone not only did Adultery but also do it on a regular basis. @__@ Well, I'll close one eye if it's a non-Muslim doing it BUT I crig in pain when it is a Muslim doing it. How can the girl being so CHEAP and the guy being driven by his sexual drive all the time? Are you sure you both are in love in each other and not Puppy Love and marriage due to ample understanding and care for each other, rather than so you can legally have sex every night? =__=

Frankly, from what I read years ago, it's okay in Islam to Masturbate as it prevent us from doing Adultery. I know it isn't the same and I will probably get bombared with theories of love, giving in to ones desire blah blah blah BUT religion law is LAW just as we proclaim the "Dua Kali Mashahadat" and pledge ourselves as Muslim. Our religion is Islam, NOT selam (dive in without thinking). Heck, I rather repay what I didn't do as a Muslim in the future than having to ask for endless forgiveness from God for what terrible wrong I did like Adultery. @__@

You know what, when I'm ready to get married, I will DEMAND that my future husband be a 100% Virgin physically other than the usual able to obey rules in Islam, Moderator and able to lead me in life with us sharing the dominant role in life. -__^ The Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Matrix etc are another story altogether and that can be arranged. -__^

Sad when those who had been educated properly in their religion or had seen the Mighty Mecca City do worse things than those who aren't that fortunate yet or know where they stand currently in the eyes of God. We live once and we are animal but we are Animal that are of the highest intelligence and cultured.

Maybe that's why my family see no problem me having close friends who are guys or even bring them home to discuss projects cause they know I'm afterall still religious deep down. No way an outsider is gonna see the state of my room or my bed anyway. -__^

If I Have Kids, I'll Named Them.....
- Mikael (Michael) aka Mika'il or any other Angels name in Islam except for Jibra'il (too heavy), Azrail/Izrael (Angel of Death), Malik (Angel of Hell's Door and too common) and Munkar & Nakeer (the duo that conduct the "Weakest Link once you are dead and buried). Israfil/Israafel also seems like a good name as it's Raphael but that is the Angel of Day of Kiamat/Doomsday. O__O

- Galadriel or Idril from Lord of the Rings. Any good names from there who isn't connected to any sad endings or fates.

- Something from Star Wars which basically have a good meaning too other than Luke, Leia, Anakin and Padme as these might be getting too common. My friend used to joked that he'll name his son Lukman so he can call him Luke. -__^

Just too lazy to blog or actually, not enough time online to blog. =__= Maybe I should just plug in my Notebook, write my thots for the day in Notepad or something and quickly transfer it to this Blog. -__^

Cut story short, I'm trying to balance between doing my costumes for Star Wars Episode II Premiere this May 16th onwards, watching documentaries on TV -__^ , going out with friends or just answering Forums and Mailing List. Am also squeezing in my Moaning Myrtle School Robe (I had completed my PoA Gryffindor School Robe and using whatever I learned from making it to make my actual PoA Slytherin one better) and a Hobbit Lass Costume, probably minus the Bodice.

Need to start doing the mock-ups for my Padme Green Robe Inner Dress, TPM Padme Tatooine Vest and do my Prequel Jedi Knight Garb other than modifying my Singapore Jedi Costume. Yub! 1 more month to May 16th and I barely finish something! @__@ And Stage Image can't take my order for AOTC Padme White Battlesuit till May while Jewel's Costume want to charge SGD80-130 for workmanship alone O__O compared to Stage Image's prediction of ~SGD50 for the whole suit with them providing the materials. Well, come worse, I just wear the White Tights from my Galaxy Angels Vanilla Outfit with my Ver. 1.0 Padme White Battlesuit Blouse and make sure the cape is close around me when I do Snow Bunny Padme.

Okay, the costumes I'm planning to have my May 16th will be:
1. Singapore Jedi Padawan (80% done and worn before)

3. AOTC Padme White Battlesuit (Tailored)
4. Clone War Snow Bunny Padme (10% at hand)
5. Imperial Royal Guard (Upgrades needed)
6. Prequel Jedi Knight aka Si-Addien Padawan
7. NJO Jedi Knight aka NJO Si-Addien former Darth Prion (assembled)
8. "Ghetto" ROTJ Luke Skywalker (just change for a Blonde Wig with 7.)
9. AOTC Boba Fett with Poncho
10. TPM Padme Tatooine (70% done since 2002?)
11. TPM cum ROTS Handmaiden Maroon Cloak
12. ROTS Padme Water Gown

12 is suppose to be worn to the May 16th Charity Premiere and am sacrifiying the cloth meant for my Eowyn Refugee/K.O. Outfit for it for now. Am supposing no one else interested in doing it currently and I'm going the Semi-Ghetto way by using Cheesecloth but the cost of the Sequins and Flowers are probably gonna exceed the cost of the materials! @__@ The Inner Dress is most likely to be done by a seamstress since I want sleeves with this dress. -__^

Sabe Royal Decoy will be an ongoing project till Nov in time for the SW Exhibition while ROTS Padme Green Robe will be due in July as I need around USD100+ to get the Silk Velvet of the correct color from US. Other than that, got 8++ other SW costumes I want to do or assemble such as Darth Maul Sith Training, Clone War Padme Red Outfit, ROTJ Mon Mothma, Manga ANH Leia, Manga ANH Leia Ceremonial Dress etc etc @__@

Oh, hope Jennifer/Ferd take good care of herself with the big personal problems at hand. =__= She is a good costuming friend even tho' I have only met her online. And she IS at hand whenever she's free to offer constructives advices and tips on how she did her costumes with air of humanity even tho' she is kinda running a business, unlike that Sabine from Moviecostumes who is kinda arrogant and not offering constructive advices to us. o__O
