Went to Funan IT Mall with Faiz today and gotten my Cardbus Adapter, DWL-650+. Cost me SGD89 at Regold Systems PL (#05-11). Heehehee, luckily I convinced Faiz to go looking around at the other shops other than at PK Mart and Challanger cause this shop seems to have the lowest price (PK Mart was SGD99 while Challanger SGD110, others SGD109-110). And the best news, I just need to slot the card in; no reinstall of the cardbus program was needed nor sychonization with the router. So I had settle one problem now! -__^

To be fully back on Celebro, I need to settle 2 other problems with it:
Get the wire outlet fit (at Toshiba Computers Factory at Kallang Way or NP) and reinstall my MS Window 98 (I think) after that virus donno did what to my computer when I attempted to delete it completely. The problem is, some of my files are in uppercase (and I can't change it due to them being system files) and I can't view the pages in Web Page format when using My Computer. For this one, I can ask Faiz or others to fix it for me BUT for the wire outlet, need to take out money to get it fixed. >__< I'll probably fix it when I release my money or sell off my Singapore Shares or after this May 12th or get some windfall.

Okay, will talk more about what I did yesterday later this afternoon; especially my report on LOTR costumes available at the costumes shops I visited today. -__^

Still pissed off with someone. >__< Now I wish the Iraq War didn't end so that he will stay away from the Forum, for fear that we will talk bad about the American Soldiers since he got "friends" being sent to there. @__@ Ya, where was he when the rest of us was keeping SW alive in Singapore before AOTC came out. What he know is to show off his expansive props "imported" from US and took away my thunder after all these years of me planning it carefully. And what is he to help others when he always buying parts from USA when the rest of us are pulling our hair out, trying to find parts for our props locally and turning everyday items into something. And he uses somebody to go all over Singapore hunting for his stuffs. @__@ I feel very, very betrayed by him; very, very bitter over it. >__<

Went to LASERflair shop today. Saw that the TPM-AOTC DVD is gone. >__< There goes my chance to finally have a Code 1 SW DVDs. >__<

But I gotten Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secret DVD as promised. My bro paid SGD20 while I pay the rest (SGD22.90). As usual, I salivate in front of the LOTR:FOTR 5-DVD Set. Still SGD139.90, not a cent less. I could get the Code 3 one instead (SGD89.90) or the 4-CDs one (SGD57.90) but as usual, my other self insist on the 5-CDs one. @__@ Well, since there is still a large amount left, I'll wait till I release my SGD1,000+.

Also rent the FOTR DVD from there. Now I know what I really missed by not having the DVDs. >__< It's sooo clear and got those special features. >__< I must get my own soon. >__<

Okay, will talk more tomolo. I'm having a headache listen to the DVD using the earphones. @__@

Will have to calculate carefully what I can afford to buy this month till May 12th.

I did Star Park myself as Arwen in her Rose & Angel Dress the other day. Will upload it to my website and post the link here.

Also attempt to do the "Revealed" Witchking but think his crown is too light in color and I better add parts to his chest (now only the crown and the usual X on the private part -__^ ). Got lots more to do, like Arwen's hair and the other characters. Think the ones top on the menu is Frodo, Arwen Mourning Gown, Gimli, Legolas, Aragorn King and Clefairy. Most want to pixer the "Sail To Undying Land" and "Dead Things" toons (Clefairy: Booo! ^__^ ) . Wait, I need MS PhotoDraw to combine all the characters and backgrounds cause I donno how to do it using Photoshop 5.5. >__<

Must spend more time on Celebro . . . (will you stop getting disconnected from the power source? >__< )

And It Has Begin . . .
The cutting of the Patterns I'll need for my costuming. Cut out panels 1 & 2 from Simplicity 8944. Didn't cut the sleeve or hood panels cause I don't need them. Will now proceed to cutting the panels for the Robes of Simplicity 9813 (the LOTR Robes Patterns) and maybe Simplicity 9162. Then, I got to start working making the mock-ups for the robes and gowns using Calico & Polyester Lining (darn! Need to buy more Calico fabrics for the mock-ups!) after I'm done with Myrtle's Vest.

Frankly, the irony about this LOTR Costuming project is that my Arwen Gowns are being send to the seamtress while I'm doing my friends' Boromir and Galadriel Costumes. Wait, it's because my Arwen Gowns uses expansive Velvet (anything costing more than SGD6/m is expansive) so I can't afford to cock-up. @__@ Hai . . . just hope Danny, Faiz and others don't pop up the question of asking me to do their costumes too. My sewing skills still sucks big time until I polish up my skills and attend an intermediate sewing class!

Hai . . . I really wonder, for my LOTR Team this Dec Cosplay, are we growing in no. too fast? Moogle keep pestering her friends to join the team. I got nothing much against that but is she sure they are serious about this? To take up this kind of "cosplay" is a commitment; you shouldn't pull back unless the elements defeated you (like how I was, thanks to my previous seamstress! >__< Will dissect her alive when I find her! ). Here's the latest character taken by them:

Fine, the Hobbits you can throw the costumes together (or rent it) but the Elves? Their costumes requires extensive researchs and expansive fabrics. Are they willing to pay the price? Elrond and Celeborn costumes can't be done cheaply, especially with Moogle leading them when she herself don't want to spend big bucks on her own Legolas. Just look at Sena, she told me her material for Legolas' Inner Tunic already cost her SGD50++++, haven't account for the other parts and tailoring cost.

I can have my Arwen Gowns done cause I know I can afford it; spending big bucks on the materials and tailoring cost. And I had forgo many things in life for them (like more SW Action Figures >__< Gimme my Maul & Vader Figurings!!! >__< ). And I don't buy branded clothes or eat out. And I have the basic knowledge of using good substitudes for the materials I can't afford. I also did extensive research on the costumes (although I don't do the sewing in the end) and search far and wide for sources of the best materials. But for them, this is gonna be their first costume; are they willing to save for it, even with my guidance? Hai . . .I just don't know.

Will have to see what happened next. Just hope they are not taking the place of others who can do it but can't now cause the roles had been taken.

Can't go to Wisma Atria today to donate blood; tummy ache since this morning. >__< Another time probably. I can't continue breaking my 5-year bond to donate blood (still got 2 full year to serve, after deducting last year's when I keep falling ill when it's time).

I drew the basic body design of the Galadriel Illustration Dress. Used Simplicity 9162, Dress B as the base. Now got to draw out the double sleeves before I start labelling and putting on the sample fabric swatches. Hai . . .I feel like getting this dress done immediately after I get back and pay for my Arwen Dress. I'm such an impatient Sith Lord!

Well, will see how after I do all the calculations.

Looked Through My Pile Of Fabrics
Found that I got around 2m of Double Georgette (White) so that will lower the expanditure for the Galadriel Illustration Dress. So I only need to spend on buying the Japanese Crepe Satin or Satin Back Crepe & Gold Trimmings.

But looking at the pattern of Simplicity 9162, I may need more than 5m of fabrics; the pattern stated around 8 1/8 - 9 1/8 yards is need to make it (with final length of 71-73" tall). That comes to a minimal of 6-7m for someone of my height. The fact also, I want this dress not to have a "waist" like normal; it's cut as 1 piece from top to bottom (see here, Dress B). So in a way, the dress is shaped to have a waist based on the cutting and sewing at the sides. Hence, this means I've to consulte my seamstress first before I go about buying the fabric. Will do that near the end of this month when I take my Arwen Dress (oh no! I haven't bought the Dress Plastic Cover and Padded Hanger @__@ ).

Hope my money will be in by this Tuesday; I'm suppose to take my dress on 30th April.

I was suppose to ramble about this idea I got about how to get the Elven Silver, High Neck Outfit Coat Fabric done. Since that Linen Durek is too bloody expansive and a bit too stiff for the Coat, I've thot of using Satin Back Crepe instead. What I can do is to give is some sparely sprays of Krylon Glitter Spray (Silver) to achieve the Silvery Tint seen on the fabric. So as soon as I have to money to spare, I better get a can of the spray and test it on the Satin Back Crepe I gotten last year. Then if it works, off to Arab Street to argue and pester the seller at that Chinese Cloth Shop until I gotten the correct bolt of White Satin Back Crepe, followed by a little bargaining to get a lower price. How much do I need? About 10m of both the Satin and Acetate Lining, I think.

As for the Inner Dress, think it'll be Japanese Crepe Satin as, as usual, I want the drape that Silky Satin can't give me. For the Crack Lines design on it, no choice but to use one of those "expansive" Laces. Must check the price when I next go to Arab Street. I may forgo using it for the sleeves though to cut cost further (anyhow, I don't mind the sleeves being a little see-thru). Instead, I could add some of those Lace Pieces I got the other day since I got more than enough for Jeanette's Gown. Unless of course, I found an alternative to it at Arab Street (meaning a new bolt of new fabric comes in) or at Chinatown (didn't go looking the other day) or somewhere else. -__^

Man! This gonna be the most expansive Hari Raya clothes I ever had! Must sell off those stuffs I had collected and want to sell off! -__^

Oh, looking through the pictures at The Council Of Elrond, I fall in love with this dress.

Yes, SUE ME! Not sure why I want to have this dress on me; maybe it's me being influence by Kurama and her Arwen Illustration Dress; maybe because the dress design is very simple, maybe because I got a Long Blonde Wig and gonna order one like Galadriel for Jeanette and my Eowyn (Parish want to buy back my current Blonde Wig). Hmm, to have it tailor out or do a gamble and sew it myself since I got a few patterns of similar design to it at hand. If I tailor it out, doubt it will cost more than SGD60 cause it's only 1 layer, shun for the double sleeves. Okay, this is what I most likely will use for it:
Whole Dress- Japanese Crepe Satin or Satin Back Crepe (Lavender color; ~4.5m cause I want a 1' train at the back)
Outer Sleeves- Double Georgette (White; Cause I want it to be not too sheer since the upper sleeve will probably not be covered by the Satin)
Gold Trimmings (On Skirt)- Gold Ribbons (3/4"-1" wide?)
Gold Trimmings (On Sleeves & Collar)- Some Beautiful Gold Trimmings (~3/4" wide)

Well, I'm gonna print out the picture after this and maybe draw out the basic design tonite or tomolo. I'll probably make the front a simple design, like normal dress or use a bit from the Arwen Illustration Dress design. I'll probably seek some advice from my friends at Off The Valar Forum and later from the LOTR Costume ML. -__^ No hurry to do this gown; it'll probably be after July when I had gotten my Sword from Danny and freed my money from POSBank grip (calculated how much I should get anyway; SGD1,146! @__@ ).

Okay, to finish going through my mail, then print out the pictures and maybe sleep. Need to wake up a little earlier tomolo to see if I can go to Spotlight Tampinese.

I Did Something Good Today . . .
Clear up the Master Bedroom Little Balcony. ^__^ Did it cause I want more space to do my props painting (the little stuffs mostly; large ones goes in the middle room toilet). Threw away a LOT of things that the whole place is cleared completely. Well except for my bro's rusty bicycle. Maybe tomorrow I'll do a little scrubbing of the floor and wall. Then I can start doing my props painting there again. -__^

Hmm, tomorrow I may need to go to Spotlight Tampinese to buy more buttons for my Mourning Gown. Need to get 4 more packets as the gown requires 11 buttons. Will have to look in the Remant Bin too to see if I can find anything I can use. Oh wait, I may not be able to spare the cash unless it's Lycra (in the color I need too!). No patterns buying too I think. >__<

I'm Feeling Very Down Now . . .
Maybe because I'm dead broke again. Maybe because I'm worried about my Arwen Rose Dress and how I gonna get it ASAP it's ready when I don't have the money. Maybe it's because I'm angry with the Midget & JediGenX. Maybe it's because I'm plain sleepy now.

Hmm, what did actually happened to me today? Well, firstly at lunch, a fish bone got stuck in my throat. @__@ Tried to dig it out but can't; ended up vomitting instead. So I left it along and just now at "dinner" I swallow as much hot Mushroom soup as possible. Well, can't feel it anymore in my throat now so it must had been gone.

I tried to sew the Green Pipings to the Grey Bias Tape too today. It's didn't work so now back to using double sided tapes to stick all 3 pieces together. I'll sew the whole thing to the collar, cuffs and bottom of the Grey Vest instead to make sure they say flat on the vest. Hai . . .wish I have to money to order the ready made Vest instead as the Green & Grey strips on the vest is suppose to be knitted into it, instead of just painted or bias tape. But can't remember if anywhere online is offering it anyway cause both Tom Riddle's and 1942 Moaning Myrtle Vest is Dark Grey, instead of Grey like the "current" Hogwarts students.

Shit! I haven't send the e-mail to Kak Intan. Hassan will kill me . . . @__@

The MS Program I borrowed from Asra didn't work at all on this computer and Celebro!! >__< Now I really, really buy the original one. Not going to get the Pirated one, too risky as it cost SGD18 the last time I checked. >__< Darn! Why everything in my life is falling apart?

I Shouldn't Go Out When I Have No Money . . .
Went to take the MS Office XP Pro Program from Asra today. Faiz was with her too and after that, they went to NP to eat and Asra to class or something. Tried to install it in this Computer but the computer either get jammed or can't read the disk. @__@ Will try on my computer later.

After that, I went to Spotlight Orchard to get more of those buttons for my Mourning Gown. Turned out they don't have it so I have to make a trip to the Tampinese Outlet to get it instead. >__< Will see when I'm in the mood to do so and got the money (Is My Money In yet?). I gotten 60cm of what looks and feel like White Cotton Lycra and 150cm of Black Chiffon. The Cotton Lycra is probably for my Padme Amidala Battle suit (can cut for the above chest part and maybe even make a new undershinguard wrap) while the Chiffon to attach to my current 2m one to make it longer and more accurate to the one Arwen wore. Both from the Remnant Bin and is at 1/2 priced. Wish there was some Black Cheesecloth or Red Cotton Lycra inside too.

Got to go and install the MS program inside Celebro now.

Mak's Maybank book must be updated at a Malaysia outlet cause it's a Malaysian Account. And the Pin No. sis gave is guaranteed WRONG. Wonder what kind of pin no. she gave me. @__@

Yazid's Frodo Wig cost SGD35 cause it's made from better quality synthetic hair and is curly. Promised the Aunty I'll get and pay it at the end of this month. Heehehehee, then, I can try to be a Hobbit for a few months till Yazid get and pay it. -__^ I got a brownish Vest that still fit me like it did 10 years ago! Add a white shirt & 3/4 pants plus some hair on my feet and I'm a Hobbit! ^__^ Pity I can't do Merry cause my Arwen Gowns already cost a bomb and I want to concentrate on my other costumes. -__^ And I still got to save & make my SW Costumes.

The Color Code for all the Wig Hair Color available is also out. Look through it and I think I had found Plantinium Blonde. There is also roughly the Dark Green Color I want for my Darth Prion/Si-Addien Wig. But got to figure out the basic design of the hair first cause the hair is short & unevenly cut, yet can be pull up for those neat Imperial Officer hairstyle. Think slightly below the shoulder length?

Below is the Colors I could be using:
Plantinium Blonde: #613A (very whitish but got that yellow tint to it), #78 (more yellowish) & #AT88 (even more yellowish)
Blonde: #613 & 24H63A (will use one of these colors or others for Galadriel & Eowyn)
White: #139 (Pure White; for Sevi-sama & Saruman/Gandalf the White) & #138 (A slight greyish tint to it; maybe better for Sevi-sama?)

Still can't find the Wig Hair Untangler at Chinatown. Those people are recommanding me expansive ones that is meant for real hair (aka with Vitamin B2 lah etc etc). Maybe the next time I drop by No. 1 Costumes Costumes, can beg them to sell or get for me one can of it. I need to gently untangle my current Eowyn Wig and that Brown Wig. >__<

Gotten 4 buttons too that may be used for my Mourning Gown. Wanted to get only 2 but the seller don't allow it. Come to think of it, I think I like the ones I get from Spotlight better and since it's cheap, I will get another 12 (aka 4 more packs) as soon as I got SGD5 to spare and is in Orchard Road or Tampinese. Then start attempting to paint it to the Gold Color. Maybe also get the Krylon Glitter Spray but this one, I hope to get from Popular since it should be cheaper there.

Hmmm, must write out a separated list of things and their price I need to buy when I get back my money from school.

Will be getting the MS FrontPage XP program from Asra tomolo afternoon. Then I'll installed it in all 3 computers in the house to make sure I'll have a place to use it in case one of the computer cock up again. >__< Then can start redoing my STAR WARS Website, do my Cosplay and LOTR Group one. Oh, for my SW one, must get another 2-3 accounts with Tripod or somewhere else, the last time I update my website, it was 45MB and now Tripod only allowed 20MB per account. Add to that another 1 account each for my Cosplay & LOTR Group Websites. Wonder what usernames I should use for each of those accounts.

Should I ask Lynn if she wants to join my LOTR Team for this Dec Cosplay? I had read back in Dec in her Blog that she might be doing LOTR Cosplay too for Dec Cosplay. And there are some who're saying they'll be joining her group. Not to Monopolize the whole LOTR Cosplay thinging but I thot it's better if the different teams can combine forces. But I'm afriad that we'll have repeated Costumes if this happens. Hmmm . . .

Maybe later when I got the Cash, I can commision my D School Blouse to Lynn and while giving her my measurements and the materials, can pretend to talk about LOTR Cosplay. -__^ Think that'll work?

Anyhow, I have decide to do a little LOTR Website for my team. Started doing it using that crappy MS FrontPage 2000 program and it's slowly coming along. The purpose of the website is to keep tab on what characters is already taken and what isn't. And hopefully, it can also attract people who don't know about the project to come forward to join us on the day ROTK is release in Singapore. Remember that Kenneth joined our team during the AOTC Parade cause he found my Ads on my SW Website. -__^

Celebro is still spoil. It's getting more and more harder to recharge the battery or keep it on Full Electric Outlet Power. I need to send it for repairs but I have no money!!! @__@

I'm Salivating Pools Of It Cause . . . .I WANT THE LOTR: FELLOWSHIP OF THE RINGS EXTENDED DVD, CODE 1!!!!
Saw it at a new shop at AMK Central and my eyes just can't get off the 5-DVD set which cost SGD139.90. I don't really care much for the Bookend; what I want is the 5 DVD, 1 extra from the normal Extended one which cost SGD59.90(?). The thing is, all the computers in this house that can play DVDs can only play Code 1 properly; if it's Code 3, can't access the special features in the DVD. Hai . . .I wonder when I can get it. Can't get it for my extremely late birthday present is it? -__^

The shop also got this STAR WARS Episode I and II double DVD (also Code 1) for SGD79.90(?). I want that one also!!! Well, I don't have TPM DVD while the AOTC DVD my bro bought is Code 3 so I can use that DVD. ^__^ But, but, I don't have the money yet. Save for it? I could but it'll take ages cause these days a lot of things are taking prioty first. And I don't get any more allowance. >__<

Will have to do a Wishlist for myself on what I need to buy and what I want to buy. Wait . . .I already got it in my wallet. @__@ No wonder these days, I keep telling myself that for my birthday or any other gift, I'll rather get CASH or have any of the items on my Wishlist Fulfilled. I don't need a new Pants, I no need a new Blouse, I don't need a new expansive wallet or handbag, I no need . . .err . . 2 new Bras will be okay especially if one of it is strapless (I need it when I wear my Arwen Gowns lah!). And no new Underwears please; the one I bought from the market is still a lot in my wardrobe, brand new some more! Well, as usual, guess it's me and my own savings to fulfil my wishes. IT STINKS!!!!

On the costuming front, I gotten the Green Bias Piping and Grey Bias Tape for my Myrtle Vest. The Bias Tape is a little too wide compare to the piping so I got to reduce its width before sewing the piping to it; probably from 12mm to about 9mm. Will do that when I'm in the mood. Still got to paint the Silve/Grey lines on the tie though and prime & paint my Jedi Food Capsules/Pellets. Okay, okay, the list of thing to do by July:
1. Apply Primer to all the Jedi Food Capsules/Pellets
2. Paint and Finish at least 8 of them. (Must remember to ask Yazid to select another color cause I see no Gun Metal Color)
3. Paint the lines on Myrtle's Tie
4. Make the Green & Grey Pipings for her Vest
5. Make Myrtle's 1942 Robe (using Simplicity 8944, the older SW-Like Pattern)
6. Make Arwen's Red Cloak to go with her dress
7. Get that "Sari-like" fabric for Kheldar's Boromir Costume (as soon as I got SGD5 to spare since it cost SGD2.50/yard)

Anyhow, as I said above, I gotten 3 buttons as sample for my Mourning Gown. Seams okay in term of the design; the actual was more complex the patterns, antique gold and semi-sphere shape (mine flat). Anyhow since the chances of me getting the actual buttons is low, I'll get 9-12 more buttons (aka 3-4 more packs) the next time I go to Spotlight (I need 11; rest as back up in case some got damaged while painting). Also must get better metallic paint unless I want the buttons to be dull gold.

While at Spotlight, I almost bought Krylon Glitter Spray as my 4th Jedi Food Capsules/Pellets Color. Took Glitter Green but put it back before I pay for the things I'm buying. The point is, money is getting tight again now and I don't need my 4th Food Capsules/Pellets till later. I could wear other colors anyway cause I got extras that I'm gonna paint the 3 Krylon Colors I currently have. And I'm not so sure that I'll get the full Metal-like color. And I saw the item at Popular the other day which surely selling it at lower price (though 1 or 2 cans). While on this paint, when I do get it, I better try it out on some Satin fabric cause . . . .

At Arab Street, I look around for the fabrics I can use for my Silver Elven Dress aka my Hari Raya Dress. Saw nothing much. Found this Ivory Linen Durek that got the silver glitter I need for the Outer Coats BUT it cost SGD14/m. @__@ I need at least 6-8 metres of it to make both coats so that price is too much. Anyhow, the price of the fabrics at the shop is pretty expansive; the Brown Thick Vinyl I gotten from Chinatown for SGD10 (or SGD8?) per yard cost SGD15/m.

And seen no Silver Cracklines Fabrics for the Inner Dress.

Then, why dropping by this Shop I had bought some Satin for my Mak's Baju Kurung before, the guy there recommand that I use Lace instead. Hmm, maybe I could since I did see some Laces with that design BUT they surely cost a bomb. I could use Silky Satin (SGD3.50) or Japanese Crepe Satin(SGD4) or Satin Back Crepe (SGD5-6) for its lining. As for the coat, I could use Satin Back Crepe or such satin that got this "tiny dots" on them and not too thin, and then using Krylon's Glitter Spray apply those silver glitters to it. I bet the cost of the tailoring will reach SGD200 cause my Rose Dress already cost SGD170 after Discount.

Well, I only need to get my fabric around July or August to send it 1 month before the Fasting Month together with my Mourning Gown so hopefully by then, I have the money and more ideas on how to getor create the fabrics.

About the Silk Velvets I need for the Mourning Gown, asked the shop and the owner told me he could order for me the fabric if I buy whole Bolt. The shortest is 25m and maybe if I get for my Mourning Gown (6-8m), Mourning Gown Cloak (6m, this one is risky cause I thot I saw the cloak as being Drak Green instead), Blood Red Gown (3m) and Asra's Blood Red Gown (3m), I could buy the whole bolt. But to have the cash (~SGD300) I must save like Hell the next few months, sell all the stuffs I want to sell, get the money from my Trust Account and get Asra to also use Silk Velvet for her gown. Hai, guess I better make a decision by the end of June so can order the Velvet by early July and send the fabrics to the seamstress by end of August.

On another news, I had found Mod Podge at Spotlight.

The 236ml Bottle cost SGD13.95. Julia used it for sticking those papers to her cardboard base of her Elven Archer Armor Parts. Well, since I'm in no sight of doing the Elven Armor currently, I'll just keep the item in mind. Well like they say, to know where to get the items when you need it is the best! ^__^

Oh, concerning the Simplicity patterns I gotten today, they are 9162 and 5840. The first, I most likely will use the dres part for Jeanette's Galadriel Gown. And I want to thank Simplicity for having those patterns in less range, 9162 has 1 pattern with 6 sizes while 5840 XS to XL. Same goes with 9891, there is only 2 types of Pattern "Sizes" and I'm sure Jeanette is not in the first range. -__^

Hmm, tomorrow must go to the Craft shop at AMK Central and get those Silver/Grey Bias Pipping and Green Bias Tape for my Myrtle Vest. Or was the color the other way round? The Bias Tapes should cost SGD1.50 while the pippings SGD1.70 so I can afford it. And I must start painting the Tie so that I can move on to doing the mock-ups for her 1942 Robe. hai . . .donno if I can make it for Myrtle this June. Fine, I can skip the skirt and shirt (use those I already got) but still, I worry about the cost of the fabric for the Robe. The cheapest I think I could get and yet still accurate is SGD5-6/m. Maybe if I use that old Simplicity SW Robe Patterns, I need not use so much cloth. It got the straight cut needed for the Robe anyway.

Okay, off to finish my Deli Potato and do some unpacking and sorting out, then off to bed. I'm becoming the Noctual Animal, walking up only after 11am. @__@ And I'm starting to eat and eat again; must go on strict 2 meals (or more) liquid diet starting tomorrow till I loose those extra weights. @__@

Maybe if I can find cheap VCDs of the Mini Series Movie and CHILDREN OF THE DUNE, I'll get myself more knowledgeable on it.

I Have This Urge . . .
To wear my Arwen Rose Dress ASAP. ^__^ But I had just send it to the seamstress on Monday and I don't have SGD130 to pay for it yet. Moreover, she promised it'll be ready on 30th April. And I haven't ordered the ears (ya, I got those ears but they are sooo loosel; that's why I want to go for Ear Tips instead and these baby cost SGD28 each and have to be ordered from UK or Germany; USA one too far away although SGD10 cheaper.).

And I got the urge to also do a Cloak for the Rose Dress. Ya, I can use my Imperial Royal Guard Cloak as Arwen's Cloak too but if I'm to compete at CosFest, I better give a more accurate costume. But I haven't read up on how to create the Cloak Arwen wore with this Dress. It has this thinging that goes in front under her neck. Sure, I can do like for the TPM Handmaid Maroon Cloak where they just put this strip of velvet around the neck area but is that the way? And I can't decide which pattern I should use; my all favourite McCall's 2810 or Burda ??. The McCall's one uses 6 yards of cloth (but I usually buy 6m) and it's very wide for my frame (other than the hood needed to be made a lot bigger); while the Burda uses 4 yards/metres and it's a little tight on me. For cloth, Taffeta Velvet (SGD3/m) as usual lor cause I'm on a tight budget. -__^

Developed the photos from Taka Cosplay Event and posted it into my Photo Album. More photos from MAC Cosplay 2001, 2002 and CosFesta and I got to send the rest of the photos to my other albums, those at Yahoo! (darth_eagle, sithprion etc), Epson and I-forget-what's-the-name-of-my-other-album.

Anyhow, concerning the LOTR Cosplay this Dec, one of the Cosplayers is so eager to get us to compete in any of the categories too in the Dec Cosplay. Well, I'm not so keen cause I remember the rules in the previous years and the reaction of some cosplayers (especially "N") but I don't mind. -__^ Will have to speak personally with Raywing/Andy and Joash about this. Joash did say MAC is considering giving out Special Awards to none Manga/Anime/Games costumes last year.

Oh, must start hunting for the fabrics for my 1942 Moaning Myrtle Costume (namely for her Robe & Skirt) as soon as I got SGD50 to spare. Will be making the Robe myself (now which pattern am I to use?) while skirt to the seamstress as soon as I confirmed the no. of pleats, design and got extra SGD40 to spare. Or I could just use my YJC Skirt for the time being and not wear the costume without the Robe. Hmm, should I order the Scarf from Lynn too? Her sis is charging SGD50-60 for the full size one. In Slytherin Colors maybe cause in 1942 (assuming), the students wear a common uniform of Black Robe/Cloak, with Hogwarts Badge/Patch, Grey Pants/Skirt, Dark Grey Vest with Green & White Pipping and White Shirt. Will have to ask the people at the Harry Potter Costuming Mailing List for opinions. Oh! And I'm not sure how to achieve the collar for the Robe. It doesn't have a hood in the first place!

Haahahhaa, I got a promise to keep; and carry it out I'll cause I'm almost half-way through it now! ^__^ After Mytle, there will be my Ringwraith and Mourning Gown, other than doing other's costumes.

For my Mourning Gown, I'm very sure it'll cost around SGD100 cause it's only Silk Velvet with Acetate or Japanese Crepe Satin Lining (aka only 2 layers) and the design kinda simplier than the Rose Dress. Ya, ya, I should had gone with Patterned Satin and cheaper Velvet, but heck, I want as close to the actual as possible. -__-

Look around for some cloth for Kheldar's Boromir Inner Tunic too but see none. Got 1 that is selling for SGD2.50/yard but it got flower pattern instead of what-is-that-logo-called. Just looking for it anyway, not buying yet cause I'm not sure how much I need and how much is Kheldar's Budget. Will have to try Arab Street (tomolo maybe?). And I'll love to find out if there is the fabric like the one used for Aragorn's Rivendell shirt is here yet (last time saw all in Luminous Color! @__@ Aragorn's is small silver "diamonds" on Black or Dark Blue Background). And I need to see if that shop have the new bolt of Silk Velvet or can special order for me and Asra Midnight Blue Color one this Aug/Oct. Oh shit! I got to send my gown to the seamstress by end of August! @__@

Oh, tomolo MUST go to Spotlight to get Krylon's Sandable Primer, and maybe a color paint. I have no idea where to get Krylon's Gun Metal in Singapore. And I need to get Krylon Color-Brown for Yazid's staff but that can wait till later as he need the staff in Dec. I also need to check out TRU and Simply Toys to see how much is Applause's Aragorn Ring.

I saw Saiyuki Reloaded Manga, in English at Popular yesterday! ^__^ Really, really want to get it but it cost SGD9++. And I still haven't bought #3 & #4 of X/1999 Manga (SGD8.50 each!). Hai . . .maybe I'll get it after I get some cash from selling some of my stuffs at Clark Quay.

Anyone free on a Sunday of May to accompany me to sell my stuffs? Commisions will be given! -__^ Got more than a whole suitcase of stuffs to sell cheaply. I just need to clear up some space in this house and my room. And I need the cash however small it is. -__^

Hmm, will have to calculate how much I can spare this week first. Most probably I can buy only 1 more album tomolo.

In other news, I can pay my school fees tomolo. Will do that in the mid-afternoon before going to Geylang to send in my costume. Then, find out how I can get another SGD80+ to pay for the gown in 2-4 week's time. Unless by then, I got the courage to get the necessary documents from my dad and close my POSBank Trust Account (that's SGD992.22 for me to keep for a rainy day!) or get my refunded school fees (I actually only need to pay SGD400++++ instead of SGD900++++ but the darn school policy of pay first, refund later @__@ ). Heck! Most of my problems are because of the fact I have little savings. >___<

But he must pay for the fabrics, eh, cause if I sponsor everything, I'll really file for Bankrupcy!

Finished A Few Stuffs Now
1. Ironed all the Beaded Laces (now got to split them up according to type and "file" into the IKEA Box)

Anyhow, the TTT VCD Parish copied for me started to have some problems. Initially, the top film of 2 of them were peeling off, now the 3rd CD is kinda damaged. Heck! Luckily it was not that good or else I'll cry a bucket. Can't wait for the Theater Released to be released this Aug. Now got to decide wherther to get the VCDs (Con: No special features) or the DVD (Cons: Can't be played on Celebro and I MUST get Region 1 one). Will have to see which one I can afford then. -__^

Oh! Last nite I did some evaluation on the drawing of Arwen's Battle Outfit Aisyah e-mailed to me the other day. Did some personal intepretation of how it can comes together with some recommanded fabrics. Must reply back to her about it. -__^ Donno if I should also sent her the writtings I did on the pictures itself cause after 10 minutes, my handwrittings started getting messy and only I can interprete. @__@ Must had been the pen (was using one of those Liquid Point pens that will smudge if left onto the paper too long). Will scan it and see what's the result. -__^

Hmm, must remember later to get a SGD15 POD card to top up my handphone. And then, conserve my phone calls and SMS so this SGD15 will last till I can afford another SGD25 (or more) one, next May 12th. -__^

Must do a little more copying from the internet then got to log off. This computer is starting to act weird again.

Did lots of scanning these 2 days. Still got lots to finish, and then come the long process of processing and trimming those photos (I scan in batches of 3). Wish I am on Celebro now. @__@ And wish this cosputer will not start failing after a few hours of working on it.

FIX IT!
Accidentally found out where is that Scanner Cable. Now I got long hours of scanning and editing to do on this computer. And all this while I thought the scanner cable was the bigger one that is similar to the printer's cause the old one was. I know this scanner was different but can't remember what cause it isn't mine. Well, got to start scanning all those pictures and drawings and Clefairy . . . ops! I mean pictures of Padme, Maul & Clefairy. -__^

Also find out why this computer speak has no sound; it wasn't connected to the computer in the first place! @__@ Now had fixed it with some guide with my bro (he himself only figure it out today @__@ ). Hai . . . this is what happened when you don't own the computer, there is too many things connected to it, and the guide book had gone into the Black Hole of my dad's room. Heck, one of the things I had learned from my late mom (although I do get irritated with her) was to keep all Guide Books that comes with the electronics/items in a safe and one place, until the item get thrown away. The other is to file all my bills, letters, etc and another is that to do things in style. The unfortunate one is that I'm pretty messy too at home and can't resist a bargain (okay, maybe I can't resist a bargain when it comes to SW Stuffs! ^__^ ).

After all the scanning, got to find my Mak's Maybank Bank Book so that I can go and update it. I know I keep it somewhere very save but can't locate it in my room yet. And yet my room is already tidy up and arranged properly, although I still can't do much filing cause can't spare the money to buy the files/boxes or no more space to put the bookcase. Hope it's isn't keep by someone else in the house. *roll eyes* Must also go through all my collections to let go those I CAN let go (sticking to Maul, Vader & IRG now, and Sg SW Stuffs). And then, the sewings and ironing.

Hai . . . . hope Celebro don't need a new battery pack again cause I just replace it last year, exactly a year ago. The first one lastest for 2 years with the least maintance carried out. And it cost SGD198 w/o school discount. >__< And it does need to get fix this time but as usual no money to spare to pay for it. And I got to go all the way to Kallang Way(?) to the Service Centre. @__@ Will see how when April 12/13th comes and I got some cash to spare (Must make sure I do the whole month marketing too on that day, which means got to deduct SGD200+ to buy all the meat and seafoods).

No wonder my Birthday this year is so quiet. Even when I turned 18 and 21, I got nothing special from my family and relatives. >__< Maybe I am a Hobbit and my coming of age is 30 instead of 21! >__< My relatives don't even know what is my age! @__@

Just think of it; because of the %$**$#*##% Finance Office who make me pay the full fees first instead of the half, I can't fix so many things in my life. Celebro need repairs and I'm sure this time I have to pay as it's the socket that is damaged, and maybe even the battery pack (and I had it replaced last year!). My modem/USB Adapter is broken and that gonna cost me around SGD100. My EzLink card need to be top up and that comes out of my own pocket. I have exhaust every single savings I keep at home just to raise another SGD500 and I still haven't raise that amount (still need SGD200). Go out to work? I can't even get out of the house without my grandma telling me to stay at home cause she's scared anything happen to her, no one is around. @__@ And my family and relatives are so particular to what job I can take (other than them being very nosy)! I thot the pass 6 months had been a long holiday for me, to recover and gain my strength but it's filled with so many shocks and depressions and loss of authority. And I can't purified myself anymore from those darn "thinking"!

I'm becoming more bitter now; thinking may seems more matured and understanding but becoming more bitter and heartless. Hatrate is building up in us. Envy gaining more front. And I'm becoming more and more of a loner, shun for the times I spend online talking to others. I wonder in which direction I'm going.

I'm also becoming so unlike my altergo. Gone are the courage. Gone are the wisdom. I keep trying to run away. I keep losing my artistic hand. Everyday is another day when I have to put aside getting my neccesaties items cause I don't have the money to spare. Another day is when I have to put aside doing something important cause I don't have the courage to go on. Seek help from others? All my best friends are distant from me, busy in their works or too change for me to confident my darkest secrets with them. I feel a great emptiness in me. I feel alone.

Can't even express my feelings into peoms or fan-fic anymore. Things just keep falling apart in my life, one after the others. I loose this, I lost that. This broke down, that get spoiled. One bombshell after another, I feel so alone. Everyone see me as the cheerful and helpful person but deep down, I'm just a sick pycho, like a domant volcano ready to explode at the slightest pressure. My darkest secrets keep getting darker, my problems keep getting worse. And to seek help from the appropiate party seems out of the question cause I GOT NO MONEY TO SPARE! There is a great sadness in me, a great loneliness. Too many betrayal in my life, too many people gone out of my life. I want to fix my life again but I have no more strength or courage to do it. I'm loosing my marbles. I'm loosing myself!

And I don't know if it's a great pity or a great loss that I appreciate life. Or it's just FEAR . . .

D'oh! >__< Inside, I saw that I got SGD992.22 and since I'm way over 21 (okay, only 2 years), I can withdraw the money easily, I think! Tomolo will go to the bank and try to withdraw everything and close the account since it's now useless. Will transfer a few hundreds into my other POSBank Account and the rest deposit into my OCBD Bank account. Now I can pay the school fees and go back to school to finish up my project.

If this works immediately, YES! I don't need to withdraw my Singapore Shares or Pawn any of my jewellery or wait till I get the money for the marketing. Pray that it'll work! -__^

Oh the Ringwraith Sword? Nope, I'll only buy it from Danny this June as promised (although now I'm assured I CAN buy it from him). Must save up for it, remember? That way, it'll taste more sweet when I held and swing it in my hand. -__^ But I can send off to get my D/Reiko Costume done now. Think the skirt will cost the max SGD40 while the blouse (one or both) around SGD40-50 each. Or should I attempt to lower my weight a couple kg first? (Wait, that means I got to buy a week or more supply of slimming drink; think will get the kind that I have to mix myself instead of the ready-to-drink one. Save money! -__^)

Will see how tomolo. Anyhow, I must go to Chinatown to check Mak's Bank book, and get Yazid's Wig. Not sure if I can make it to send my gown to the seamstress.

Anyhow, repack some of the stuffs that are to be recycled. Went through the pack containing clothing and I keep feeling sayang to let go some of them. But forced myself; if I keep doing that I will never reduce the amount of junks in this house! I got to let go; it's the best and most honourable thinging to do. Also keep hearing myself saying I-Migh-Need-It-Later-For-Cosplay. Heck! I not gonna cosplay so much so why should I keep them? Anyway, majority of my costumes are tailored made, by myself or the seamtress. I have to let them go as they are junk! Spoilt! Torn! Faded! Outdated!

Heck! When in the world can I reduced the amount of things in this house? My dad is being very, very uncooperative. Previously, I had managed to clear this upstair common room a bit. Can comfortably do my cloth cutting there if I need and the center toilet is pretty clear that it can be used for bathing or washing hands/minor laundry. But guess what happened? My dad clear up his room and dump boxes upon boxes of his stuffs into the common room making it crowded again and his cloth rack into the toilet! @__@ Wish I can just throw all those stuffs away; am getting irritated with his actions. Heck! The month when he went to Haj was quite calming cause the house is pretty clear and it's quiet all days (sometimes I wonder if that Ear infection he had a year or 2 back had cause him to be hard of hearing too, thus having to on the TV and Radio volume till so loud!). I can't wait to own my own house and be the master of the house! >__<

Okay, going to sleep now. Got somethings to do tomolo at Chinatown.

Ps: For my Arwen Rose Dress, I just gonna use the normal white pipping for the collar of the Red Overcoat. IMHO it looks more accurate that way, and based on a picture like this, but bigger and clearer:

But there will be Zam. And Elven Archer (3rd Age Elven Armor) & Easterling will probably be possible since they are handmade. AOTC Anakin is possible too, or else I just intergrate it into my Jedi Costume. Darth Maul Sith Training is still on the Horizon since I already got the fabric but no money to do the belt and gauntlet gloves (heck! the belt and gauntlet will be used for my Sith Costume too!).

Will I stop putting too many costumes on my list! >__<

You know I want the Elven Sword the most, other than their armors. With me gonna get the Witchking sword from Danny this June/July for SGD300 and then still afford the bolt of black cloth for my Ringwraith and Silk Velvet, plus specially made trimmings for my Arwen Gown, I wonder if I can still afford that sword IF it comes out the end of this year. Bet it gonna cost at least SGD700. Hai . . . must start work like this, but where? I can't take up a full hour job with Mak needing me at home most of the time, and having to do mine and my friends' costumes & props. But I needed the money . . . .

About the things I got to do, I had ironed all the lace trimings that don't have the beadings. Am now ironing those with the beadings. And I don't know why but certain types of beadings (those using the larger beads or double beaded) is giving me goosebumps. I don't know why. @__@ So I'm not ironing them (they are difficult to iron anyway) and putting them away. Maybe I'll just sell them off or redo the beadings if I needed more laces.

Got A Couple Of Things To Settle After This . . .
Redraw the design of Arwen Rose Dress. The one I drew and inked before got the actual sleeves design so I had to draw one with the sleeves similar to McCall's 3010. The first one I drew was too shaped; the skirt part is way too like that of a gown (full, need Can-Can) so I had to redraw a much straight cut one. Now I got to ink and label it, then roughly sketch how the back looks like since I was a train of about 1/2' on the back only. -__^

Then, I got to iron those laces pieces.

And sew the bottom of my white skirt meant for the Angel Sanctuary Sister Costume (I still need to do the veil/headress and make/buy the black bow).

And recut and sew my Luke Skywalker Cloak; well almost like it except that I'm using Cotton Drill and the Hood is lined with Bright Blue Cotton-Polyester.

And redo the bottom of my Maroon Handmaid Cloak. Oh! Don't forget to iron it a bit so the Lining stay inside the cloak.

And rearrange again the pile of cloths I got.

And get off this computer so I can do the above. >___<

Darn! I need to buy the Scanner Cable and extension wires since I'm doing the ironing on an iron board! >___<

I Am Tired . . . .
Nothing much had been done this week. I tried to do my Cosplay Website but too tired of the fact that I keep having to change CDs to get to my pictures. And that pirated MS FrontPage Program refused to save some of the pictures! @__@ If only I got the money to buy the original. I also need to redo the WHOLE of my Star Wars Website, revamp a bit my Imperial Royal Guard Website and do a bunch of other SW related website like SW Celebrations (Tips, Ideas etc on how to intergrate SW into you Wedding, Birthday, Halloween Party etc), Darth Maul Sanctuary, Darth Vader Hibernation Chamber etc. Hai . . . if only Celeborn didn't get spoil and need a complete reboot last Jan 2001, I'll had done all those websites and only need to update it here and there. >__<

Anyhow, I'm trying to reduce spending time online now so I can finish my costumes, props and do something about the things in my room. And maybe earn some money making costume/props for my friends. I can do some Gothic Lolita Headress and do more Jedi Food Pellets (yes, yes, I need to get a new Can of Primer first, and find Krylon's Gun Metal first). And I need to sell off those junks that belong to my family and I had deemed useless. Anyone willing to accompany me one fine Sunday, selling those stuffs cheaply at Clark Quay? ^__^ A small percentage, after deduction the rental fee, can be earned! -__^

One was to Lynn asking how much she'll charge for the tailoring of a Japanese Junior High School Blouse, and how much for a Harry Potter Scarf.
One to this Avery who told me at CosFesta that he can do commision works for weapons. Ask him how much he'll charge for the Elven Sword, either just the base or the completed item (well, I don't mind doing the painting myself -__^ ).
One to Enish asking wherther his team still take up Commision Works on Western Sword.
Will wait for their replies.

Douglas/Kai had also replied to my enquires on the measurements of his Elven Sword. Man! I love his Jedi Braces/Gauntlet and I love his Elven Sword! ^__^ He's very kind enough to provide for me the basic measurements of his Elven Sword, and gave a little advice on how how it should be for me. A Big Thank you Douglas/Kai! -__^

If I had the skills, I'll go down to my Bro's school Technical Lab and do this Sword myself but unfortunately, my skills in props making is still at beginners (I'm taking ages to make Yazid's latest Frodo Staff; Maybe I should move on to trying on 1"-1.5" Wooden Dowel now). So there is a high likeliness I'll commission it out, at least the Wooden Base. If I do get to do the 3rd Age Elven Armor (aka the Elven Archers) after I had completed ALL my LOTR Costuming Projects, I'll need this Sword. And I doubt the official one by United Cutlery will comes out so soon (at most, in Dec I think!). And I still got to save up some money to pay for the Witchking Sword Scabbard, and much, much later, the Elven Soldiers Helmets ( 2nd & 3rd Age) from UC, whenever it get released that is!

Aisyah may do Arwen's Battle Outfit for CosFest this June! If what I guess is correct, it's the Maroon one (the Grey one is called the Chase Outfitt).



Can't wait to see her do it as that'll means she'll be the first in the world to actually do this outfit since it's still on the cutting board and few pictures of the whole outfit is available online (and it's isn't shown at any of the exhibition anyway). But the problem is, CosFest is being shifted to June 1st, instead of July 6th.

Okay, I got to do some other things online now. Will write more on my mind after midnight. -__^

April 1st-April Fools!!!
Went to East Coast Parkway Beach with the family and my aunt's. A bit boring IMHO. I wanted to get my bro snap some pictures of me in my Mitsuki Sanada costume BUT my darn nosy aunt was there. >__< Spent the day with my feet in the sea and sand, sunbathing under the fading tree and watching the horizon. The good thing is, I walk from the area (before Bedok Jetty, end of Area E) to MacDonald. The journey too me around 20-30 minutes but it's quite enriching. Saw the changes that had occured there since I last came (in 1998), saw where are the Chalet and also saw how much the MacDonald area had changed. Also see quite an amount of good photography areas, including an abardon old gate to a swimming pool or something. ^__^ There are a LOT more shops there, from Komala Fast Food to Coffee Beans to Starbuck to Gurame. And after the walk back to where everyone else is, I FEEL LIGHT AND REFRESH!! Muwhaahahahahhahaha! ^__^ And since I came back yesterday, I don't feel hungry easily. Hehehehehee, maybe I should go for a long walk everytime before my meals. -__^

Later that nite, I saw that a number of the boards at TFN Jedi Council had changed their banners. JC got TFN Literature Banners while the FanForce gotten either of 2 Star Trek FanForce Banner. Ask Shara_82 for a change for a few days and gotten it. Ha! If only I had noticed it earlier, then the joke will work better! -__^


April 2nd-My Feet Hurts
I started posting at SgAnime Forum. Can no longer resist it as Moogle started a thread on LOTR Cosplay. She's interested in doing Legolas and this Maya interested in doing Eowyn. More addition to the team for MAC Cosplay I hope! -__^

Just now, someone at SingaporeAnimeNews Forum said he's interested in doing Ringwraith but seems half hearted. Hai, I hope we don't get more than 9 Ringwraith this Dec; then I got to come as the Witchking of Angmar with his "sucking lemons" mouth! @__@ Anyhow, I'll make sure my Ringwraith Robes are the BEST in Singapore, since someone had posted online how she did the Boots Armor and Gauntlets using Vinyl Floor Mats/Tikar Getah. ^__^

April 3rd-My Eyes Feel Strained
As the title said. @__@

Anyhow, I got to send my Arwen Gown to the seamstress by this Weekend. But I want look for a wider Braids Trimmings for the Upper Arm part of the gown first. And I haven't redraw the new design of the sleeves. Will go for McCall's 3010 Sleeves instead since the velvet is a bit too stiff to do the semi-circle sleeves like the original. -__^ And then, I'll wait for April 13th to get the money to pay for it and wear it for the first time, in time for CosFest this June. *\/^__^ *

Better sign off and do something else now, other than surfing net . . .
