I Hate Sharing My Food. . . .
. . . .That is what is in my bowl or plate unless you are my family members of course! ^__^

Why am I saying this? Well, ever since I started working, someone been asking to taste my Soup or my Deli Potato or my Noodle just because she had never eaten it before. @__@ I really HATE to share foods that are NOT meant to be shared! >__< Fries or Nuggets or stuffs that comes in individual pieces is okay but NOT my bowl of soup or noodles! Ya, she may be a Muslim too but she drinks for God's Sake! @__@ So does that make her salive Halal or not?

Hai. . . .some people. They can blunt out verses from the Quran and yet they still drink forbidden stuffs like Beer and Alcoholic Champange. @__@ Hypocrates? @__@

Does She Think I Run A Free-To-Rent Costume Shop? >__<
Will forever be irritated with the Small Donut for telling me what to do when she is irresponsible, unreliable and self-centered. Moron! Who she think she is? >__<

I have the rights to do whatever I want with my stuffs and my life! And my costumes and stuffs don't come cheap like her cheapsake costume which contrary to her words, is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO inaccurate!!!!!!!!

I really take back my words for telling her, her costume looks nice. The picture was small and unclear anyway!

Somethings That Came To My Attention Again. . . . . .

THE WHITE BOOK, 15 July 2003
". . . .In this way I revisited the Gates of Mordor today , where The Mouth of Sauron once more threw down Frodo’s mithral vest. And Gandalf meets despair. Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Pippin were nothing but eyelines marked by a chalk cross behind or alongside the camera, or a yellow tennis ball or a red apple spiked on top of a lighting stand. I wonder if today’s tennis ball was a veteran from the Balrog battle where again an eyeline was need for a non-existent foe. . . ."

Me and my obsessions with the Mouth Of Sauron. ^__^

Shopping Trips At Arab Street Today . . . . .
Today was my day off from work so had tried to do what I had done before I got this job again today. After disposing the Gandalf Beard at work, I took the MRT to Arab Street and start my stalking for things I may use for my costumes and props.

Over at C. Rashiwala Bros. shop, I looked through their catalog as usual and spot the trimmings I could use for my LOTR Costumes. As before, the one with the diamond shapes in Gold and Silver Brocade is still out of stock. >__< I could use it for my Fountain Guard (or at least help Fariz complete his); trimmings for the Ivory/Beige color Tunic and the Black Cloak, but seems like luck still not on my side.

Also looked at the other trimmings and I see 1 or 2 that can pass off as the ropes for Eowyn's Shieldmaiden Dress Sleeves. The only problem for one is that it's double braid and has a rope braided in while the other it has a pale brown threads braided into it.

Then it crossed my mind to upgrade my Arwen Mourning Gown Trimming and spot loops trimmings that I may be able to add to my dress' trimmings. But since I can't remember the width of my trimming (shame on me! @__@ ) and those loops comes in 2 design and 3 sizes, I leave it for another day.

And upon looking carefully at the beaded and embroderied trimmings, I can across a number that can pass off for Arwen Mourning Gown Trimming. The one I'm most interested in cost SGD190 per 7.8m O__O and it measured about 1 1/2" wide. It's in Antique Gold with Muddy Brown backing, and fully beaded and embroderied with Wire Bullion. Well, think I'll need about 2 metres for the Arwen Mourning Gown Trimming since the ones for the sleeves has to be double up to form the correct wide (3" rite?) so the rest has to be kept away for future projects OR sold off on eBay. It's isn't THE Trimming but it's pretty close and with addition of the Bluish & Reddish Beads and putting it on a red background (I still got lots of the red cotton fabric used for the current trimmings), it'll look 10x better than my current one. O__O Well, if I get it, it's meant for my 2nd Version of the Arwen Mourning Gown when I become too thin for my current one and also found a new supply of cheap SGD15/m max Silk Velvet, which currently seems far, far away. >__< Well, will calculate my savings first before I do get it and ask around if such trimming is sellable on eBay.

The other alternative the shop owner/worker told me is to make the whole trimmings myself using the Ready-To-Sew-Down Bullion Strands, Beads and Bullion pieces they have in store. But it may be tedious and I'm still yet to be able to make my own dress from scratch even; let alone embrodery works! @__@

Other than the trimming for that Arwen Dress, I also saw some beaded flower pieces, sold in metres, that can be used for Galadriel's Dress Belt. There is 1 that can be used almost "raw" (aka just sew it down to a base for nicer look) and cost SGD69 per metre but it's sold out. Then there is another that has the beaded flowers almost like the ones for Galadriel but the White or Transparent ones are sold out (why is it that the trimmings I needed are all sold out? @__@). The other alternative and the one I may use cost SGD30/m so will decide later if I really want to explode my money on it, other than be sure of the amount I need. The Galadriel Prolog Dress Project is many month in the future anyway, when I'm a LOT slimmer and can do a gown well. -__^

Then, went to my usual cloth shop and gotten 4+m of Grey Cotton Drill (SGD2/m) and 4.7m of this Black Cotton-Polyester Fabric (SGD3/m) that is soft. The Grey will be for the outer layer of my Lothlorien Archer/March Warden suit while the Black for my Gothic Lolita Dress.

Also gotten 1m of Lace Trimmings for my Gothic Lolita Dress for SGD3.30/m. Now if only I can get a seamstress that can do it for under SGD50. . . . . .

Ps: Isn't it shameful for someone who called herself an Eowyn Fanatic, other than declaring that she watch LOTR regulary, that can't even tell how many dress Eowyn has in the movie; and can't even name 3/4 of them? Hai. . . .some people. . . . . @__@
Remember The LOTR-The Matrix Parodies In May 2003? -__^

Here is one created by a fellow TFN-JediCouncil member during The Matrix Reloaded fever last year:

Every mammal in Middle-earth instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you hobbits do not.

You move to an area and dig, and dig until every hill has been hollowed out! The only way you can survive is to dig in another hill.

There is another organism in Middle-earth that follows this same pattern, do you know what it is?

A gopher.

Hobbits are a disease, a cancer of this world, you're a plague.

And we...are the cure.

The Lyrics. . . . .

Of the Song Merry and Pippin sang in the Green Dragon in FOTR:EE.

Hey Ho!
To the bottle I go,
To heal my heart and drown my woe.
Rain may fall and wind may blow,
But there still be. . . .
Many miles to go.

Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain,
And the stream that fall from hill to plain.
Better than rain or rippling brook,
Is a mug of beer inside this Took!

Next on the Menu is the Lyrics to the Song the Duo sang at Edoras in ROTK. -__^

Just A Quick Rundown. . . . .
On what Fiona and I did yesterday.

We went to People's Park Shopping Centre and I finally gotten 7 Yards of that (Patterned) Silk Chiffon (or burnt silk) for my future Galadriel Prolog Dress at SGD8/yard from the original SGD12/yard. The uncle kept saying that 5 yards is more than enough for me even after I showed him how wide the dress and its sleeves are but I insisted on buying 7 yards. Now when I'm home, I realized that I MUST combine the cloth with plain Chiffon for the Sleeves and Cowl Collar as the body will take up about 5 yards while the 2 sleeves 4 yards. @__@ Anyhow, the sleeves are suppose to be plain Chiffon with the patterns getting more and more dense as it goes downwards so I'm kinda on the rite path. -__^

The only thing to do now is to get the Plain Chiffon (and make sure it match the Pattern Chiffon I had gotten yesterday) from Arab Street, learn to make a dress using the patterns I got and slim down so I'll look great as Lady Galadriel. Well, won't see the costume becoming a reality till later this year or next year. -__-

Ps: I'm getting obsessed with my new Altergo, Anarien. She's younger sister to Haldir and the 2 shared the same father and the same mother as Rumil and Orophin. Look out for her Very Secret Diary, FanFic and the costume. -__^

Will Someone Tell Me . . . .
How in the world does Haldir's Banner look like?

I wish someone who had gone to the LOTR Exhibition in New Zealand and did looked up can answer my question. -__-

The banner (and 13 others) wasn't in Singapore and the Banner was described as being "Cream and Gold". >__<

Just When I Thot. . . .
I can finally get for myself a Trooper Armor, I realized that I'm suppose to do Zam Wesell next year! >__<

Gotten my first salary last Sat and it's SGD866 Net after deducting the CPF. -__- Well, if April and May ones are slightly more, I'm sure I can afford to get for myself a Biker Scout Trooper Armor minus the Helmet by the time I finish working this June. So far, I got the 2 big boys of armors in mind, StudioCreations and Kropserkel and both are selling the Armor in the USD400 range before adding shipping cost.

BUT surfing online last night, I realized that I promised to do Zam first and that armor/costume need several parts to be ordered from contacts in the US. Namely the helmet, Hose Outlet, Gun & maybe Holster, Brooch and a couple of other stuffs. So that's where my money suppose to go to.

Soooooo. . . . .I guess I'll see how I get my last Salary around June. Maybe, I CAN afford to have Zam done and get myself a Biker Scout Armor at the same time. Well, I'm kinda getting sick of being the Imperial Royal Guard all the time when I have to do Imperials anyway. -__-

Ps: NO! I'll not be part of the local 501st Garrison as long as that moron is the leader! X-( He stole my thunder and I'm still VERY BITTER about it. Anyhow, after that Admin Officer of the 501st Legion keep loosing my applications several times and not have me registered when the other 2 bulger with NO Imperial Armor or Costumes got in, I feel hesistated to register again. -__-

Okay, off to get ready to get to work now. I do enjoy my job at the LOTR Exhibition tho' the price I have to pay is pretty heavy at aching ankles and addiction to coffee when working. >__<
